What hydro jetting actually does
A jetting hose carries a nozzle that fires water backwards and forwards at pressure. As we feed it along the pipe, that spray cuts through grease, silt and roots, then washes the debris back towards the opening we feed from.
The bore comes back. The pipe behind the nozzle ends up closer to its original diameter than any other clearing method gets it. That matters most on repeat blockages.
If a line has been eelled twice in a year, whatever was left on the pipe wall was always going to catch the next lot of debris. Jetting strips the wall back and buys you a much longer gap between visits. An eel cannot do that, no matter how many passes it makes.

How is jetting different from an electric eel?
An eel pokes a hole through the middle of a blockage, while jetting scours the whole pipe wall clean, which is why the results last much longer between call-outs.
Do I need a camera inspection as well as the jet?
